EXCLUSIVE: Former vice president and Republican presidential candidate Mike Pence will write a new book with his daughter Charlotte Pence Bond about the value of faith and family while juggling the rigours of daily life.
On November 14, Simon & Schuster will release the book, “Go Home for Dinner: Advice on How Faith Makes a Family and Family Makes a Life,” under that title.
In order to support his firmly held conviction that family always comes first, regardless of where he has been or has planned to be in his career, Pence, author of the New York Times bestseller “So Help Me God,” will work on the book with his daughter, who is also a best-selling novelist.

Pence said in a statement, “I hope these lessons and experiences from our family inspire you to achieve your aspirations while keeping your family close. “The very lifeblood of America is strong families. By putting faith and family first—which begins when you go home for dinner—I think we can heal our nation.
According to Simon & Schuster, the book will serve as a “in-depth, practical guide to balancing the demands of life with the long-term satisfaction that only a commitment to your family can bring.”
“In this personal tale, former Vice President Mike Pence defends one of his most ardent convictions: that a person’s family is the foundation of their faith. And he demonstrates his readers how to do the same with clear counsel and intimate storytelling,” the business stated.

The book will include brief chapters in which Pence will describe the values he and his wife, former Second Lady Karen Pence, developed as they raised their family. He will also discuss how his parents’ example established the value of sitting down to eat and paying attention to others.
Pence will also talk about how he and Karen prioritised their marriage in the face of many difficulties, including his unsuccessful congressional campaigns and infertility, as well as how he came to trust God. Additionally, he will give examples from different families.

The Pence family is far from flawless, but according to Simon & Schuster, the ideals described in this book have helped them survive and thrive throughout their incredible journey in public service.
