Bob Brown, a member of the Pro Football and College Football Halls of Fame, passed away on Friday while surrounded by loved ones.
Age-wise, he was 81.
From 1964 through 1973, Brown was an NFL player who was a nine-time All-Pro and largely considered as one of the best offensive linemen of his time. Throughout his fruitful ten-year professional career, he played for the Eagles, Rams, and Raiders.
Additionally, he was chosen for the NFL’s 1960s All-Decade squad.

Through a statement from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Brown’s wife claimed that he had a stroke in April. She claimed that ever since, he had been receiving treatment.
In a statement, Jim Porter, the president of the Hall of Fame, noted that Bob Brown “displayed different personalities on and off the field.” He was a formidable rival on the field to any defensive lineman or linebacker ever. To break the will of the guy on the other side of the queue, he employed every trick in the book, as well as brutal force on occasion. I was very proud of doing it.
“Yet, off the field, he displayed a quiet, gentle, and compassionate side that his son, Robert Jr., beautifully conveyed when he presented his father for induction in 2004. The Hall offers its condolences and prayers to CeeCee and Robert Jr.
According to Bryson DeChambeau, there is “not as much tension” between PGA Tour and LIV players

In his final season with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Brown was awarded a consensus All-American, earning him the No. 2 overall pick in the 1964 NFL Draught. His number 64 has now been retired by the football programme.
In the first round of the 1964 AFL Draught, Brown was also selected.

When Brown was a member of the Raiders in 1971, the offensive line included Gene Upshaw, Jim Otto at centre, and Art Shell and Ron Mix at tackle. These athletes have all been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Former Raiders offensive lineman Brown was tutored by the late John Madden, who once praised the toughness of the former offensive lineman.
According to Madden, who was speaking on behalf of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, “Bob was the most aggressive lineman that ever played.”
